Acrobot takes safety seriously assessing all electrical circuits one home at a time.
Here are a few things you can do for free:
- Check your smoke alarms are up to date, and they work together when tested.
- Check your consumer unit RCDs' are working every six months.
- Remove clothing or equipment from in front of your fuse box.
- Check your home has been electrically tested.
- Have broken or damaged electrical accessories removed or replaced.
- If you have young children, consider socket covers over low level socket outlets.
- Check your outside socket is closed correctly.
EICR
(ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CONDITION REPORT)
An EICR assesses the safety of your homes electrical installation.
We carry out full visual inspections and fully test all circuits supplying accessories. A report will be created outling all suggested changes to improve your electrical system. Necessary changes will also take place to ensure immediate safety.
*Landlords are legally required to have an EICR every five years*
Fault Finding
Faults can be more serious than you think!
To give you immediate piece of mind our engineers can carry out full diagnostic testing and fix the faults right away. Our callout service is available five days a week from 8am to 7pm. We are located in the centre of Bristol and can reach most areas in under 30 minutes.
Fire safety
Keeping your home or premises safe can be as easy as reading the base of your smoke alarm to check it is still in date. Annual testing of your smoke alarms is advised assuring all devises are working and linked together. We can guide you with the installation of these life saving devices. Alternatively, we can also upgrade your current system.
